I have never had a "real" Philly cheesesteak before so this place was one of my firsts as they are in a lot of malls in the southeast. So not to discredit the real Philly cheesesteak peeps, I will call them steak sandwiches. To me they have always been nice and tasty and this place is no exception. When they get busy they at prone to mess up your order as I have seen on several occasions. Make sure you keep an eye on them while they make your order. The cheesesteaks are good though and my family loves them. Nuff said.

Great Philly Cheesesteak.... just onions, meat, provolone and extra mayo.... just like in Philadelphia... very tasty and I'll be sure to have another one soon...

I've never had a Philly cheesesteak before so I can't compare Charleys to anything else, but what I had here was pretty good. I was picky about my order which I'm sure got lost in translation. The line cook realized his mistake and offered to remake it, but I decided to just try it as is and winded up liking it anyway. He also insisted if I didn't like it, he'll make it just the way I want it. Really great customer service here, folks.
I also had the bacon cheese fries which were yummy, but the real star of the show was that Peach Lemonade. Lawd have mercy! I'm going to have to go back just for that if I'm parched perusing the PX.

Located in the AAFES PX food court. -

Food is great but the service sucks. I don't eat there often but when I do I always order the same thing. Buffalo chicken and gourmet fries. Apparently now there is more then one type of gourmet fries. I told her I wanted the ranch on the side and everything else on top of the fries. I told her no onions add crispy bacon and to go. I also asked for ketchup in the bag. She repeated the order back and I reminded her crispy bacon and its to go. She said they put it on the grill. I said well right but I need it to be crispy. She told me to tell them when I got to that point on the line. I had to say it seven times before she heard I wanted crispy bacon. I was handed my food in a tray to eat in. Plus all my toppings were on the side. And I got no ketchup. It might not seem like a big deal but when it's lunch rush and you know what you want it can be annoying. Everyone behind the counter just seemed confused. The only one who smiled was the manager. Lol. Hey if you hate your job don't work there.
